

His first big break as a screenwriter for film came when the movie Ab Tak Chhappan was released. įilm (Screenplays, Dialogues, and Lyrics) He has also written and produced episodes of X Zone and Rishtey (TV series) for Zee Entertainment Enterprises under the banner - Wisdom Tree Productions. Sandeep was also the Creative Director on this show. He wrote the story, screenplay, dialogues and lyrics for Zee TV’s critically acclaimed daily soap Manzilein Apani Apani produced and directed by Manzilein Apani Apani. Īs a freelance writer he wrote several episodes of Sea Hawks (TV series) produced by UTV Motion Pictures, a show based on the lives of Coast Guards in India as well as numerous episodes of Balaji Telefilms’ daily soap Itihaas (TV series), and multiple episodes of Kittie Party which aired on Zee TV. He later decided to branch out and became a freelance writer with the weekly soap called Daraar that aired on Zee TV for many years. He supervised and guided the writing - story, screenplay and dialogues for multiple episodes. He was the writer and script supervisor on Nimbus’s daily soap called Farz for DD National. He later joined Nimbus Communications as an in-house writer. He also scripted episodes for the popular music countdown show Superhit Muqabla. He wrote several episodes for Reporter, a weekly fiction series that aired on DD Metro. He began working with television production companies in New Delhi as an assistant director, post production technician and production executive for television shows based on current affairs that aired on Doordarshan and DD Metro in the early 90s. Sandeep’s background in theatre and advertising helped him understand film and television as a medium. Here he got to learn the finer nuances of drama from the very prolific Ebrahim Alkazi, the founder director of National School of Drama, New Delhi.

His work as an amateur theatre artist led to his selection in Living Theatre, New Delhi. In his pursuit of a bigger creative gratification, Sandeep went on to do theatre where he worked with Yatrik and Ruchika Theatre Groups in New Delhi. Īfter completing his MBA in New Delhi, Sandeep worked in advertising and created many corporate ad campaigns for NTPC, NHPC, U.P.

He spent his childhood and did his schooling in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, Chhattisgarh. Sandeep was born in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.
